BARÚ DISTRICT, CHIRIQUÍ — A 6.2 magnitude quake was recorded near Burica around midday Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was reported that a tremor slammed the area at 17:16 UTC (11:16 local time). The epicenter was located approximately 206 km south of Burica, at a depth of 10 km.
