LOS ANDES DEPARTMENT, Salta Province — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.0 magnitude quake hit close to San Antonio de los Cobres Sunday morning.

The tremor jolted at 05:56 UTC (02:56 local time), with its epicenter situated approximately 43 km west of San Antonio de los Cobres and a depth of 182 km.
