BAGHLAN, Baghlan — A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near Baghlān on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit at 01:29 UTC (05:59 local time), with its epicenter approximately 7 km east-southeast of Baghlān and a depth of 50 km.
