Update: Earthquake measuring 5.2 hits area close to Easter Island region on July 20

EASTER ISLAND, Valparaíso — Sunday morning, a 5.2 magnitude quake was detected close to Easter Island region, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 08:31 UTC (01:31 local time), with its epicenter located near Easter Island region and a depth of 10 km.
