Update: Earthquake measuring 4.0 rattles area close to Olancha, CA on July 13

INYO COUNTY, CA — A 4.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Olancha Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the region at 5:27 a.m. It occurred at a depth of just 1 mile with the epicenter situated about 7 miles south-southwest of Olancha.
