Update: Earthquake of 4.0 magnitude registered near Olancha, CA on July 13

INYO COUNTY, CA — A 4.0 magnitude quake was reported near Olancha Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 5:27 a.m., with its epicenter situated roughly 7 miles south-southwest of Olancha and a depth of just 1 mile.
