Wednesday morning, a 7.3 magnitude quake was detected close to 2025 Sand Point, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck the area at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time). It occurred at a depth of 12 miles with the epicenter situated near 2025 Sand Point.
