‘EUA PROPE, ‘Eua — A 5.3 magnitude quake was registered near ‘Ohonua at midnight on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the area at 12:31 UTC (00:31 local time), was centered roughly 122 km south-southeast of ‘Ohonua. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
