SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.7 magnitude quake occurred close to Pinnacles Saturday morning.

The tremor rattled at 1:31 a.m., with its epicenter situated approximately 3 miles east of Pinnacles and a depth of 7 miles.

So far, the agency has collected 9 online responses from individuals reporting that they experienced the quake. Weak shaking was observed, with reports from cities such as Pebble Beach and Soledad indicating that the tremor was felt, according to the USGS DYFI report.

In the past week, one quake with a magnitude 2.5 was detected in the area. It was recorded near Pinnacles, seven days ago.
