Tough game for Springfield Jr. Blues ends in victory against Janesville Jets

There was a turnaround in the game on Saturday, March 28, 2025 between the Springfield Jr. Blues and the Janesville Jets at Nelson Center.

The -team Janesville held a 2-0 lead at the beginning of the second period, but Springfield turned the game around and ended up winning the game 6-2.

The team took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Rylan Brady. Sullivan Miller and Joseph Hyten assisted.

The Jets’ Sebastian Vitali increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the first, assisted by Bauer Murphy and Sullivan Miller.

The Jr. Bues scored three goals in second period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the second break.

Niko Laus made it 4-2 with a goal in the third period, assisted by Cruz Martin and Zach Peller.

Aidan Hickok also increased the lead to 5-2 with a goal only seconds later, assisted by Owen Lowe.

The Jr. Bues increased the lead to 6-2 with five seconds remaining of the third period after a goal from Ben Cameron, assisted by Ryan Winklebleck and Owen Lowe.
