The Minot Minotauros defeated the Austin Bruins 4-1 on Saturday, March 28, 2025 at Pepsi Rink at Maysa Arena.
The Minotauros started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Ian Spencer scoring in the first minute, assisted by John Small and Gavin Middendorf.
The Minotauros made it 2-0 in the first period when Dane Ramirez scored, assisted by Jack Edwards and Davin Nichols.
The Bruins’ Luc Malkhassian narrowed the gap to 2-1 halfway through the first period, assisted by Ashton Bynum and Alex Laurenza.
The Minotauros’ Jack O’hanisain increased the lead to 3-1 late in the first, assisted by Jesse Juhola and Adam Mahler.
The Minotauros increased the lead to 4-1 with 54 seconds remaining of the third period after a goal from Ian Spencer, assisted by John Small and Adam Mahler.
