Sept. 6: Earthquake measuring 5.2 jolts region near East Pacific Rise

A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near East Pacific Rise on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which hit the area at 12:00 UTC (04:00 local time), was centered south of East Pacific Rise. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
