Earthquake measuring 5.1 strikes area close to East Pacific Rise on Sept. 6

A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near East Pacific Rise on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which shook the region at 10:38 UTC (02:38 local time), was centered south of East Pacific Rise. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
