A 5.2 magnitude quake jolted near Dunhuang on Thursday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 17:04 UTC (01:04 local time), a tremor struck the region at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter roughly 271 km south-southeast of Dunhuang.
