Thursday morning, a 5.6 magnitude quake was reported near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 20:03 UTC (07:03 local time). The epicenter was located roughly 156 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 10 km.
