Update: Oct. 27 – 6.0 magnitude earthquake recorded close to Beauséjour, Guadeloupe

SAINT-FRANCOIS, Grande-Terre — Monday morning, a 6.0 magnitude quake was reported close to Beauséjour, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor hit the area at 12:54 UTC (08:54 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated roughly 166 km east of Beauséjour and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
