Update: Oct. 11 – 5.2 magnitude earthquake reported near Zhaotong, China

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.2 magnitude quake jolted near Zhaotong at midday on Saturday.

At 03:18 UTC (11:18 local time), the region was hit by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter approximately 32 km southwest of Zhaotong.
