Update: Earthquake of 5.0 magnitude registered close to Badak, Philippines on May 16

MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR, ARMM — A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled near Badak on Saturday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 11:25 UTC (19:25 local time), with its epicenter approximately 4 km southwest of Badak and a depth of 10 km.
