Update: Earthquake of 5.0 magnitude registered close to Yenangyaung, Burma (Myanmar) on May 10

MINBU, Magway Region — A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Yenangyaung on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which jolted the area at 19:36 UTC (02:06 local time), was centered about 84 km west of Yenangyaung. It occurred at a depth of 54 km.
