POHUWATO REGENCY, Gorontalo — A 5.3 magnitude quake struck near Gorontalo on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the area at 21:34 UTC (05:34 local time). It occurred at a depth of 104 km with the epicenter approximately 151 km west of Gorontalo.
