A 5.2 magnitude quake shook near southeast Indian Ridge on Friday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 04:59 UTC (11:59 local time). The epicenter was of southeast Indian Ridge, at a depth of 10 km.
