A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled close to Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Monday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 12:29 UTC (11:29 local time), a tremor jolted the region at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter south of Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
