Update: Earthquake measuring 5.3 shakes area near Caburan, Philippines on Aug. 12

On Tuesday around midday, a 5.3 magnitude quake was reported close to Caburan, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 05:08 UTC (13:08 local time), the region was jolted by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 125 km, with its epicenter approximately 65 km east-southeast of Caburan.
