The Odessa Jackalopes won at Ector County Coliseum on Friday, March 20, 2025, handing the Corpus Christi IceRays a defeat 7-4.
The team took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Jack L’esperance. Braden Pietila and Christian Tavare assisted.
The IceRays’ Stepan Kuznetsov tied the game 1-1 late in the first, assisted by Grayson Gerhard and Caden Morgan.
The Jackalopes took the lead with another goal from Jack L’esperance late in the first, assisted by Chris Graves and Austin Richards.
Five goals were scored in the second period, and the Jackalopes led 5-3 going in to the third period.
Christian Tavare made it 6-3 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Jordan Larkee and Nicholas Puricelli.
Stepan Kuznetsov narrowed the gap to 6-4 with a goal six minutes later, assisted by Pierson Sobush and Cody Kempf.
The Jackalopes increased the lead to 7-4 with 23 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Caden Ghiossi, assisted by Jeremy Jacobs and Shea Barry.
