However, the New Jersey Titans changed things in their favor and won. The game ended 5-3.
The Tomahawks took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Nick White. Dylan Shane and Nick Jarmain assisted.
The Tomahawks scored two goals in second period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the second break.
The Titans tied the score 3-3 early in the third period when Owen Leahy found the back of the net, assisted by Alex Papaspyropoulos and Blake Jones.
Ryan Novo took the lead with a goal three minutes later, assisted by Ryan Friedman and Odin Ford.
Nikita Meshcheryakov also made it 5-3 with a goal seven minutes later, assisted by Jack Hillier and Nikolai Meshkantsov.
