The Des Moines Buccaneers defeated the Omaha Lancers 4-2 on Friday, March 20, 2025 at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.
The Buccaneers opened strong, right after the puck drop with Yaroslav Bryzgalov scoring in the first period, goal assisted by Aiden Grossklaus.
Caden Lee scored early in the second period, assisted by Davis Borozinskis and Branko Vukas.
Buccaneers’ Nate Delladonna tallied a goal midway through, making the score 2-1. Richard Baran and Yaroslav Bryzgalov assisted.
The Buccaneers increased the lead to 3-1 within the first minute when Mason Peapenburg scored, assisted by Andrew Clarke and Gus Thorp.
Hugo Daniel narrowed the gap to 3-2 with a goal late in the third period, assisted by Branko Vukas and David Hruby.
Ben Kevan made it 4-2 with a goal one minute later, assisted by Andrew Clarke.
