The Lone Star Brahmas bested the Oklahoma Warriors 3-2 on Friday, March 20, 2025 at Blazers Ice Centre.
Lone Star’s Saxton Tess scored the game-winning goal.
The Brahmas took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Owen Kerr. Saxton Tess and Charlie Masek assisted.
The Warriors tied the score 1-1 within the first minute of the second period when Charlie Ashton beat the goalie, assisted by Joseph Luger.
Late, Owen Kerr scored a goal, assisted by Cooper Faughnan and Charlie Masek, making the score 2-1.
Trent Burlison tied the game 2-2 with a goal late in the third period, assisted by Joey Derosa and Ben Likness.
The Brahmas took the lead with 57 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Saxton Tess.
