CURRY COUNTY, OR — A 5.5 magnitude quake occurred near Langlois on Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 11:35 a.m. (3:35 a.m. local time). The epicenter was roughly 140 miles west of Langlois, at a depth of 6 miles. The magnitude was originally reported as 5.4 but later upgraded to 5.5.
