July 30: Earthquake of 5.2 magnitude registered close to Vilyuchinsk, Russia

A 5.2 magnitude quake was detected close to Vilyuchinsk on Wednesday around midday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

A tremor struck the area at 01:22 UTC (12:22 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated about 136 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk and occurred at a depth of 35 km.
