Update: 5.2 magnitude earthquake hits close to Vilyuchinsk, Russia on July 29

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.2 magnitude quake struck near Vilyuchinsk Tuesday morning.

The tremor, which jolted the area at 23:43 UTC (10:43 local time), was centered about 157 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk. It occurred at a depth of 35 km.
