NIUATOPUTAPU, Niuas — A 5.1 magnitude quake jolted close to Hihifo on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 15:33 UTC (03:33 local time). The epicenter was roughly 108 km northeast of Hihifo, at a depth of 10 km.
