A 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded near Georgetown Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 05:55 UTC (04:55 local time), the region was jolted by a tremor. The earthquake shook at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter approximately 267 km south-southeast of Georgetown.
