A 5.1 magnitude quake hit close to Puerto Madero on Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which jolted the region at 16:01 UTC (10:01 local time), was centered approximately 33 km south-southwest of Puerto Madero. It occurred at a depth of 65 km.

Five tremors of magnitude 2.5 or above have been reported in the region over the last week. The biggest, a 7.3 magnitude quake, was recorded in the same area prior to this quake.
