A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Los Asientos at midday on Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor rattled the region at 18:50 UTC (13:50 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter roughly 18 km south of Los Asientos.
