KOTA GORONTALO, Gorontalo — A 5.1 magnitude quake hit close to Gorontalo on Tuesday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor struck at 11:14 UTC (19:14 local time), with its epicenter approximately 210 km northwest of Gorontalo and a depth of 549 km.
