Update: Jan. 21 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake detected close to Luwuk, Indonesia

Wednesday morning, a 5.1 magnitude quake was reported near Luwuk, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck at 22:44 UTC (06:44 local time), with its epicenter situated approximately 83 km north of Luwuk and a depth of 88 km.
