Update: Earthquake hits region close to Tual, Indonesia on Jan. 25 – 5.1 magnitude recorded

Sunday afternoon, a 5.1 magnitude quake was registered close to Tual, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted the area at 06:22 UTC (15:22 local time). It occurred at a depth of 137 km with the epicenter located about 247 km west-southwest of Tual.
