Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 registered close to Santiago Quiavicuzas, Mexico on April 21

SAN CARLOS YAUTEPEC, Oax. — A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Santiago Quiavicuzas on Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rattled the area at 14:52 UTC (08:52 local time). It occurred at a depth of 81 km with the epicenter approximately 12 km south-southwest of Santiago Quiavicuzas.
