MUY MUY, Matagalpa — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.0 magnitude quake hit near off the coast of Central America Saturday morning.

The tremor, which struck the area at 12:05 UTC (06:05 local time), was centered of off the coast of Central America. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
