Update: Seismic activity on Feb. 6 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia recorded

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.1 magnitude quake struck close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Friday afternoon.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 04:24 UTC (16:24 local time). The epicenter was situated approximately 92 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 58 km.
