A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Sarangani on Wednesday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted the area at 05:59 UTC (13:59 local time). It occurred at a depth of 12 km with the epicenter roughly 37 km southwest of Sarangani.
