A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Masohi on Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor struck the area at 23:15 UTC (08:15 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was roughly 148 km east-northeast of Masohi and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
