UCAYALI PROVINCE, Loreto — A 5.2 magnitude quake struck close to Uchiza on Monday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 01:42 UTC (20:42 local time), a tremor shook the region at a depth of 124 km, with its epicenter roughly 71 km east-southeast of Uchiza.
