A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Xunchang on Friday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor, which hit the region at 05:08 UTC (13:08 local time), was centered roughly 6 km north-northeast of Xunchang. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
