A 5.3 magnitude quake struck close to Labuan Bajo on Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor hit at 22:53 UTC (06:53 local time), with its epicenter about 61 km northeast of Labuan Bajo and a depth of 10 km.
