Update: 5.0 magnitude earthquake recorded close to Kendari, Indonesia on March 26

A 5.0 magnitude quake hit close to Kendari around midday Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 04:39 UTC (12:39 local time). The epicenter was roughly 89 km east-northeast of Kendari, at a depth of 10 km.
