Update: Seismic activity on Dec. 19 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake near Hinatuan, Philippines recorded

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.1 magnitude quake shook close to Hinatuan around midday Friday.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 04:02 UTC (12:02 local time). The epicenter was situated roughly 48 km east-northeast of Hinatuan, at a depth of 74 km.
