KUZ KUNAR, Nangarhar — A 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded close to Jalālābād Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck at 17:25 UTC (21:55 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 25 km east-northeast of Jalālābād and a depth of 10 km.
