Wednesday night, a 5.1 magnitude quake was reported near Borbon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook at 14:46 UTC (22:46 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 16 km east-northeast of Borbon and a depth of 10 km.

Weak shaking was observed, with reports from cities such as Mandaue and Mandawa indicating that the tremor was felt, according to the USGS DYFI report.
