Sunday afternoon, a 5.1 magnitude quake was registered close to Hasaki, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the area at 06:58 UTC (15:58 local time). The epicenter was situated roughly 140 km southeast of Hasaki, at a depth of 10 km.
